You're looking to upgrade the video card, the ram, and add an additional HDD. 4 gb of ram might be pushing it depending on how many ram slots you have (you probably have 4 slots, which would mean you need to buy 4x 1gigabyte sticks)

It'd help a lot if you could post your current specs, including your motherboards make/model number.

If you don't know that information, download and run the program here--> http://www.hwinfo.com/

take a screen shot of the results (hit [prt scrn] on your keyboard, open up MSpaint, and hit [ctrl] + [v] and then save the image, upload to imageshack.us or attach it to a reply here.)

Really, I would just make an entirely new computer. From what it sounds like, you have a very old computer (less than a gig of RAM) so you probably will need a new motherboard to support a newer card + RAM.

Go on newegg.com, ncix.com and tigerdirect.ca and check out motherboards. Build up from there. If you spend a good 1000, you can make yourself a very decent rig.

It would be much more economically feasible to just build a new computer ;) If you want help, PM me with a budget and I will see what I can do. You could build a new computer with 4GB Ram, 500GB harddrive, Dual Core processor, decent video card, for about $350-400.

There is no way to change the size of physical hardware. The only way is to purchase new equipment to upgrade your system which will cost a substantial amount of money.

Make sure you build your own comp, it's hella easy and very cheap as well, and you get to optimize it yourself.
